By automatically importing your Official News Feed into Facebook, you can keep Facebook fans up to date with new news, shows, and blog entries. It's simple to do and we posted instructions on it a few weeks ago, but Facebook made some changes since there and we've now updated the instructions.

You can use the Official News Feed that ArtistData has created for you to update fans on Facebook about news, shows, and blogs. You can add info to your Profile and Band Page! Here's how.

Adding Official News Updates to your Facebook Band Page:

1. Copy your Official News Feed URL (found in the Publish and Promote tab)
2. Log into your Facebook account
3. Go to your band page
4. Click "Edit Page" right below your photo in the upper left.
   
5. Scroll down to "Notes" and click the pencil on the right side
6. Choose "Edit"
7. On the right side of the page, click "Import a blog" under "Notes Settings"
   
   
   
   
8. In the Web URL box, paste the Official News Feed URL from step 1, check the checkbox, and click "Start Importing"
   

That's it! Now you have official news posting to your Facebook Band Page!

Adding News Updates to your Facebook Profile

1. Copy your Official News Feed URL (found in the Publish and Promote tab)
2. Log into your Facebook account
3. At the bottom of the screen, click "Applications" and then Choose "Notes"
   
   
   
   
4. On the right side of the page, click "Import a blog" under "Notes Settings"
   
   
   
   
5. In the Web URL box, paste the Official News Feed URL from step 1, check the checkbox, and click "Start Importing"
   

That's it! Now you have official news posting to your Facebook Profile and Band page with no extra work!
