NOTE: We are going to start posting How To's to the blog every week or so. This is the first installment. Email support@artistdata.com if you have a suggestion on a future how-to.

When we post information to certain places (e.g. Twitter, Official News Feed) we need to provide a link to the full content. The most direct and efficient way to do this is to send fans to information pages with lots of links to your other web properties.

At the top of these pages there is room to put a customized banner image. Read on to see an example and to find out how to set yours up!

NOTE: We are going to start posting How To's to the blog every week or so. This is the first installment. Email support@artistdata.com if you have a suggestion on a future how-to.

When we post information to certain places (e.g. Twitter, Official News Feed) we need to provide a link to the full content. The most direct and efficient way to do this is to send fans to information pages (shown below) with lots of links to your other web properties.

At the top of these pages there is room to put a customized banner image. As time goes on, we'll let you customize these pages a bit more, but for now, uploading a banner will bring your brand to these pages. The image with "The August" written on it is a custom banner the band created. Here's how to set up your own Banner Image:
  1. Select the photo or graphic you'd like to use for your banner image.
  2. Within an image editing program, create an image that is 864 pixels wide by 239 high and save it as a JPG.
  3. Log into ArtistData and click on your "Profile" tab.
  4. Scroll down to find "Banner Photo" and upload your new image there!
That's it! Now your banner image will appear on these information pages!
